Remember?

Remember that time we were together, planning the details of this life? Remember how we knew we would come to earth at a time when truth would almost completely be concealed by evil and conspiring men and women?

Do you recall the deep emotions of fear swelling within us, knowing the magnitude of dark forces so few of us would be up against? Remember the emotions of knowing that we could be estranged and persecuted for defending unpopular truth? Remember how we knew that standing up for truth during this time would cause us to appear to our family, friends, and leaders?

Can you also remember the peaceful assuring confidence we had that if we would be strong voices for truth during these times, Christ’s power and grace would magnify our abilities? Can you remember that through our paltry efforts He can help others awaken to truth? Can you remember that through the courageous He will defeat darkness and conspiring men in the last days? Can you remember your premortal covenants to be a courageous voice for truth as you know it, despite all the opposing voices around you?

When you remember, be that courageous voice! Don’t fear men anymore – fear your God and remember! Give Truth a voice!

“You are the Light of the world”

– Matthew 5:14

I’m like Swen, I don’t remember but I trust!!! Thank you for reminding us that we did make covenants and that we did once know what we were embarking on and that we did once have sufficient courage to take this on and that will be enough! You are the best! Thank you Eric!

Eric, I so appreciate the work and all the many sacrifices you are making for the Lord at this time. When I have prayed aboutA huge paradigm shift in one of your doctrinal essays, I received a witness to the truthfulness of what you were saying. And, when I asked why it wasn’t currently being taught now, the answer I received was “timing”. I do not know that I could be as brave as you at this point in my life, or sacrifice so much to share a truth and the perspective of which makes everything else makes so much sense. Nevertheless, drop by drop, I am becoming much more resolute regarding bearing a constant witness of the divinity of our Savior. An eternal perspective is what will get us through the next few years.

    💕💕💯💯

I just read this in Isaiah 51:11-13

Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

    I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
And forgettest the Lord thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

Thanks for the reminders, Eric and Isaiah. 💕💕

Thank you Eric! Love this! One of the greatest blessings the Lord has given me this year is to be more connected with those of one mind and one heart …I am eternally grateful for the added measure of strength and peace this is bringing!

Wow! This makes my heart pound because of the truth I feel in these words. We can stand up and be courageous defenders of truth. We are prepared for this work and He knows of each of our abilities. Through His strength we will be able to do all He asks of us. Thank you Eric💕

Eric, thanks for the encouragement. I pray I will soon experience the same memories you have.

This past year, I have strongly felt Deja Vu from the increasing animosity, divisiveness, and opposing views in the world regarding right and wrong, freedom or oppression.
It saddens me to hear those uninterested in studying scriptures or uncensored accounts of events that fulfill the warning revelations of the Lord. The prophet seems calm and at peace so some feel there’s nothing to worry about. They are content to follow his counsel to develop personal revelation yet still wait for him to warn us if it’s necessary. Trying to reason together fulfills our duty to warn our neighbor when we have been warned. Fear of offending those we love or fear for is tough. This feels very familiar and reminiscent to me of the War in Heaven.

Oh heck yes I totally remember. Maybe it’s my foolishness but I do not recall fear only unabashed determination and excitement over a chance to come to this time and place to stand bold with Eric and all you great folks against the powers of darkness!

Eric, this is such a great message upon which to start the upcoming year.
My memories of the pre-existence are filled with visuals (i.e. Christ’s birth, Christ’s resurrection, the restiration of the gispel by Joseph, etc).
I have been given the gift of enthusiasm (amid other treasures) and that gift has offered me so many blessings in bringing my fellow men to work in good causes.
Like Joseph, many of us have earned the status of our names being “known for good and ill”. The latter paths do momentarily bring us sadness and discomfort, as we are discarded by people we love. Then, as we draw a deep breath, the embers of eternal angelic fires are fuelled and we gather strength and joy in KNOWING IN WHOM WE TRUST… We seek for the renewed spirit of knowing we are cast members in the scenes in staging the quiet but profound actions that will see the heavens open as a scroll and Christ become the visible lead for the eternal stewardships ahead.
