Light and Law #3 – Cosmic Transmutation

All intelligence is subject to transmutation within the Universe, and agency seems to be the driving force behind such change. Therefore, both these principles may be considered Natural, or Cosmic Law. If an intelligence chooses light, it becomes lighter. If it chooses darkness, it becomes darker, and in the process it transmutes into something else. Intelligence is therefore a dynamic thing, never stagnant for any substantial amount of time.

And in the process of transmutation, there are numerous moments of micro-change which may seem insignificant in themselves. These are the routine changes in our lives like getting a new colored tooth brush, or choosing a different breakfast than the day before. These events are the words and sentences that comprise our Books of our Lives.

The more substantial experiences like losing a loved one, or battling a severe illness define character and comprise the paragraphs and pages of our Books. Then there are our various mortal probations when we visit the earth with a new set of covenants, struggles, and blessings to experience. These comprise the chapters in our Books of Life and are more defining in terms of the personal transmutation we create for ourselves, whether in ascension or in descension. These are usually more substantial and far less frequent. They are those transitions when an intelligence transmutes from one kingdom into another. These shifts occur when an intelligence is born into a new planetary realm, which births follow a death of some kind. And through those transitions their bodies are transmuted, taking a different form.

But to those in possession of the Key of Knowledge, with experience in such things, these transmutations can also occur at will, as they transcend to other realms by going within (see Matthew 23:13).

Planets undergo the less frequent transmutations as they undergo their own life cycles. The only known shift of its kind at a planetary scale is when Eve and Adam partook of the fruit in violation of the Law of Preservation which caused the Terrestrial sphere as they knew it to diminish in glory and it became the Telestial sphere we know now. These are the shifts that comprise the chapters in a planet’s Book of Life, and we lie on the brink of another equally as remarkable transmutation.

Cosmic Duality

Parallels between planetary transmutation and the transmutation of individual children of God can be observed in the natural universe. To star-gazers, these patterns seem to have been intentionally placed there by the Grand Creator Himself, awaiting the moment His own children look upon them and receive their intended divine lessons.

Examine a family you are well acquainted with. You may find a single family comprised of parents and children each at various stages in their spiritual progression. You may observe some of its members pursuing a more destructive course, or some pursuing courses that are more constructive and fruitful. Some excel or decline rapidly, while others have a more gradual ascension or descension. Agency is found in the driver seat of each individual journey. Each pursues what it truly desires.

The same conditions can be observed in the family we know as the Solar System and each of its members. The Sun is bright and glorious, surpassing the brightness of any other member of his family. His brothers and sisters are scattered throughout the Milky Way Galaxy, some of whom are illuminating their own children in their own solar families, also as Suns.

Our Sun now imparts his light to each of his ‘children’, among which we see all sizes and colors. He works in a different capacity than his children, striving to become a being of even greater light like his father, who resides inward toward the Galactic Core where Celestial Light and Laws operate.

Within his family are found some bodies with more or less mortal experience than another. Some members have been in other solar families at some point in their cosmic history, depending upon their own adherence to Light and Law, and their individual plans. And for some others, this is their first revolution around a ‘solar father’, as they gain mortal experience of their own, and as they witness the varying degrees of regard for law among their fellow siblings in the Solar System.

Our own Mother Earth is glorious, and reflects the light of her Solar Father, as she works toward a future day when she emits her own light as a self-sufficient Celestial body.

Further out in the solar system we observe an orbit of a once perfect planetary sphere, but who hearkened not to the Light and Laws of Preservation of his estate, and as a consequence of Cosmic Law, exploded and left a trail of debris known as the Asteroid Belt. His remains are a constant reminder to us of the result of becoming a law unto itself and refusing the gift (D&C 88).

Those spheres who abide the Laws of Sanctification will eventually transmute into a realm of Terrestrial glory, as a new and reborn being, while those who fail to live the Law of Preservation will spiral outward into darkness, away from the Light of their Solar Father, becoming a law unto themselves, and in some cases, becoming ‘matter unorganized’.

But according to cosmic law, the choice to progress and be reborn into another organized body in another cosmic family may do so, according to its own God-given agency. Thus, for all sovereign and dynamic beings of intelligence in the cosmos, the ability to Transmute, or reincarnate is a fundamental component of Cosmic Law.

And so it is with each of the other solar family members, as they act in their individual sovereignty. They sojourn their own paths of transmutation, and in their own perfect timing and way, guided and illuminated by their Solar Father every orbit of their journey, each orbit comprising the sentences of their own stories; every solar flare and cosmic storm shaping and writing their chapters, and every transmutation into another realm of Glory defining the volumes within their Books of Life.

The Mind-blow of Transmutation

For the children of God, each change, shift, or transmutation comes with varying degrees of difficulty and a reprogramming of the mind, and in some cases, the heart. Whether a transmutation in the upward or downward direction, the resulting conditions may be inconceivable before the shift. I will go a step further and say, the resulting changes of major transmutations can be a total mind blow.

In the blissful Terrestrial realm of Eden, it would have been hard to convince Adam and Eve that things don’t grow the same way in a lower realm of Light and Law as what they were used to. They would have to learn that through the sweat of their faces would they plant seeds, cultivate, and then harvest them. Then adding insult to injury, there would be new types of plants called thorns and thistles, whose sole purpose was to hurt them. Conceiving of such conditions only intellectually, verses living in them physically is where the mind blow enters. In that shift downward, life got harder, as the violation of the Law of Preservation they received from the Lord became their new reality.

In a transition to a realm of higher Light and Law, planetary inhabitants will be more pleasantly rewarded for their adherence to the Laws of Sanctification in their previous realm. Imagine traveling at the speed of thought; healing any sickness through vibrational frequency; constructing buildings by thought; or eating and drinking without concern for negative effects on the body. Those are some of the things that await the faithful in the impending positive global transmutation. While difficult to comprehend now, it will soon become our mind blowing reality.

The examples provided here are physical, but the shift in spiritual law will be equally as drastic. The spectrum of possibility for most of us is narrow, as we are limited by Telestial tethers of knowledge and experience. The Laws of Chastity, Redemption, and Sacrifice for example, are generally thought of as spiritual Law, but they will each experience changes.

So will the Law of Tithing. If you are accustomed to working for money and paying ten percent of your surplus, imagine a day when goods are produced and acquired without payment; where you give all and receive all. It is a completely different physical and spiritual law than what we are accustomed to.

Michael Tellinger of South Africa, and his Ubunthu movement have demonstrated a model of civilization where citizens of a community volunteer only a few hours a week to a common cause and the community as a whole can become exceptionally abundant. I feel his concepts and models are mind-blowing but will be at the heart of the economy of Zion.

I had originally intended to elaborate here upon some specific examples of what the transmutation of some specific spiritual Laws like the Law of Chastity or of Redemption may occur in the upcoming transition, but feel to leave that for another essay.

My hope and purpose in writing this essay is that the broad spectrum of Light and Law in the universe has been demonstrated scripturally, both past and future. My hope is that as we experience changes in Cosmic Law that we may be less startled as we are exposed to higher principles and keys of knowledge in days and years to come. Many of these insights will be uncomfortable to those with a strong Telestial tether, but those tethered to Christ will sail these Terrestrial tides of Transmutation gracefully.
